Have appointments, pills and procedures, supplements, and even natural therapies taken over your life?
Has pain eaten away at your identity to the point that you feel like a shell of your old self and you do not feel like yourself anymore?
Pain is like a prison that gets tighter with time. It is a bully that belittles you every day. A dictator who rules what you can or cannot do every minute.

- The side effects of drugs and procedures are just as disabling as the symptom they are supposed to ease;
- Your constant care routines keep you from enjoying foods, people and living a joyful life worry-free
I have been there too, and we can change it!

It’s time you take back your life!
THE SCIENCE OF PAIN
Pain Tries to Protect You
Pain is the result of communication between your body and your brain. It is the message sent by your brain to alert you of danger, and protect you from harm. The longer it has been going on, the more that message is loud and hard to quiet down. And the harder it becomes to treat your pain by only treating the body.
Chronic pain is always physical and psychological
So it requires a holistic, global treatment that will support both the body, (the wound, nutrition, sleep), the mind (mindset, vision of life, nervous system), the spirit or psychological (grief, anxiety, emotions acceptance), and the environment (lifestyle habits, toxins, stresses).
This model of treatment of chronic pain is called the bio-psychosocial model (see blog article) and it has proven its effectiveness since the 70’s! –But of course our sick-care system prefers to treat pain with pills and procedures…
“Chronic pain is not all about the body, and it’s not all about the brain – it’s everything. Target everything, take back your life. “

transform your pain one key at a time
Less pain. More hope, joy & fullfilment
By the end of this 16 weeks pain therapy & coaching you will find the key to:
Sleep good at night and feel rested
Recover deep restorative sleep to wake up refreshed and learn how to truly rest.
Pain is worse when you feel tired. In this program you will implement a new sleep hygiene to improve both your sleep quality and quantity, so that your body can restore, digest and heal.
Feel safe, calm and connected
Pain becomes chronic when our nervous system is blocked in survival mode ( the fight, flight and freeze states).
Daily stressors, trauma, surgeries and living with pain can be a traumatic experience that affect your nervous system.
Studies also show us that trauma and emotions can become stuck in the body in the form of pain and inflammation.
Learn strategies, tools and techniques to calm your Autonomous Nervous System (ANS), support your immune system and help your body reach a state of homeostasis (balance).
Find the energy to go about your day and feel motivated
You will implement strategies and new lifestyle habits to balance your life in order to treat fatigue and lethargy, regain mental and physical energy, as well as stamina and motivation.
Build a supportive care team and cultivate a healthy social life & vital connections
We have all done it:
- refused to go to dinner with friends by fear of bloating and being in pain.
- Feeling ashamed because we are picky about what we can eat and preferring staying home.
- Not daring to say yes to an outing because we do not know how well we will feel that day. avoid social outigns, cancel at the last minute, and stay away from people.
You will learn how to communicate your needs, learn to say no where and when it matters, protect your energy while allowing for the deep connection you crave.
Humans are social animals, so pain feels worse when we feel lonely. Learn about social medicine and how to make your social life give you energy rather than drain you, and how to build your own support system to protect your energy and decrease your pain.
Keep fear, frustration, shame and guilt from disrupting your life, needs & energy

Return to movement & activities that brought you joy
Learn how avoidance allows pain to grow and how to progressively reintroduce gentle movement to ease pain, without overdoing it and experiencing increased pain afterwards, so that you can return to activities you love and to your life.
Enjoy eating and feeding your body for healing, without bloat, guilt nor shame
You will learn and implement new ways to nourish your body and mind, with nutrition tips, receipes and meal prep designed by a nutritionist, so that you can enjoy eating again, and help your body fight muscle cramping and inflammation, and thus reduce your levels of pain, while also supporting your immune system and mental health.
Rewire your brain out of chronic pain
Pain becomes chronic when those pain neural pathways are used for too long.
Using pain reprocessing therapy tools, let’s discover what your body is trying to tell you, and what happens when you listen to his messages and replace them with messages of safety.
We will also see how the 6F of pain (fear, frustration, focusing, fighting, figuring out, fixing) have been keeping you in a cycle of pain, and how to stop the vicious cycle.
See how emotions affect your pain levels and manage them more efficiently
Chronic pain comes with a roller coster of emotions that requires a strong mindset and a lot of resilience.
Grief, sadness, frustration, hopelessness, depression…are frequent co-travellers.
By the end of this program you will have learned and practiced techniques to keep away from the anxiety-pain cycle. You will track heavy emotions stuck in your body in the shape of symptoms and pains with somatic tracking and be able to observe them as they dissipate.
Get back to your life and live mindfully, vibrantly, with purpose
You will learn to implement new habits based on lifestyle medicine. With coaching you will switch unsupportive behaviors for helathier ones, and design a new lifestyle that fits who you are now, respects your values, your body, your needs and present abilities, to support your mental and physical health.
See what magic a life that inspires you can do for you!
This plan is for you if:
- You have been diagnosed with a chronic condition, and are seeking a more natural approach to heal and manage your symptoms outside of pills and procedures;

- You are open to experimenting with new strategies and ready for support and guidance;
- You are willing to discover the hidden factors that influence your pain;

YOUR MIND-BODY PAIN COACH
Hello, I´m Titia
— a licensed CBT clinical psychologist in Europe, and a Mind-body certified coach in the USA, with a personal history of chronic pain & illness. Leveraging this dual expertise, I provide a unique, holistic approach to pain relief based on the gold-standard Bio-PsychoSocial model and cutting-edge neuroscience.
My personal journey with invisible illness began in 2004 when I was “simply” diagnosed with Hashimoto’s hypothyroidism. However after the birth of my children, I spent years navigating unexplained fatigue, back pain, migraines, pelvic discomfort, and digestive issues. It wasn’t until 2014, after extensive medical testing, that I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis by the Mayo Clinic in Florida. During surgery, I also discovered I had adenomyosis. Then after surgery I was diagnosed with hypertonic pelvic floor, yet another type of pain!
The lack of proper treatment, guidance and support I felt made me realize the limitations of our “sick-care” system and reinforced my desire to manage my symptoms more naturally. So I decided to avoid further surgeries and explore alternative treatments, including herbal medicine and lifestyle interventions, and deepen my understanding of chronic pain science.
I created this program for the version of me who felt alone, lost, unsupported, confused and overwhelmed while exhausted of having tried everything.
It’s not that it does not work for you. You just haven’t been given the right tools and plan yet.
I spent the past 20 years studying and finding what worked for my pain and symptoms so that I could get my life back.
Today, my mission is to empower women with chronic illness and pains to reclaim control over their health by providing personalized, evidence-based care that will alleviate suffering, improve their quality of life and foster lasting well-being.

Wellbeing Coach vs Psychologist
Warning: Coaching is not a substitute for psychotherapy, or psychiatric or medical treatments
Coaching vs Psychotherapy
Coaching and Psychotherapy are two complementary methodologies that correspond to different stages of well-being. When someone is in depression, they need the expertise of a mental health professional (psychologist or psychotherapist or counselor) in order to regain their initial balance and state of well-being.
The coach however, intervenes when someone wants to grow and journey towards their ideal of health and well-being. Wherever the Psychotherapist often focuses and works on the past, the coach focuses and works on the future.
The coach thus works as a complement to health experts (doctors, therapists). S.he takes the time –where the doctor often doesn’t have it, to find strategies in order to support patient’s objectives. S.he supports his/her client’s expertise, and will help him/her follow the plan put in place by the experts in order to increase the patient’s compliance to treatment.
What are my responsibilities as a client?
- Firslty, to engage to complete 3-months of wellness coaching ( for 3 month-plan);
- Next, to complete a Wellbeing Assessment;
- Thirdly, to engage and participate in sessions and be an actor of their health (vs a patient seeing an expert for advice) for a minimum of 5 coaching sessions;
- Later, sessions can be planned weekly, monthly, or quarterly.
- Finally, it is primordial to keep an open mind, and invite and be open to Change (as it is the main goal!)
How do coaching sessions work?
- Initial coaching session (60-90 min.): First we review the Wellbeing Assessment and develop your personal Wellness Vision. Then we identify your priorities, strengths, and obstacles. After that we develop a personal wellness plan with 3-month and weekly goals, and set up your first steps.
- Weekly/monthly sessions (30-40 min.): We then meet virtually or in-person to review progress towards client goals, explore challenges, find new possibilities/strategies, and set new achievable objecives for the next week.
- 3-months review: At that time we will assess progress and celebrate your successes!
Why a 3-month program?
-
Complexity of Chronic Pain: Chronic pain is not a simple acute injury.
It involves deep-seated biological, psychological, and social factors that have developed over time. Changing these requires consistent effort, learning, and integration. -
Habit Formation and Neuroplasticity:
-
New habits take time: Shifting thought patterns, emotional responses, movement behaviors, and nervous system regulation takes more than a few weeks. A 3-month period allows for the repetition and practice necessary for new, pain-reducing habits to solidify.
-
Neuroplasticity: The brain’s ability to rewire itself (neuroplasticity) is central to pain recovery, especially in understanding and reducing “neuroplastic pain.”
This rewiring is not an overnight process. Consistent, guided practice over several months is key for the brain to learn new pathways and associations.
-
-
Pacing for the Nervous System: Your program specifically mentions “paced for your nervous system.” This is critical for chronic pain. Rushing can trigger flare-ups or overwhelm. A 12-week duration allows for:
-
Gradual introduction of new concepts and practices.
-
Time for clients to integrate learnings into their daily lives without feeling rushed.
-
Flexibility to adjust the pace based on the client’s individual response and energy levels.
-
-
Integration of Learnings: The Bio-PsychoSocial model involves education, cognitive reframing, emotional regulation, movement, sleep, stress management, and more. A 3-month program provides ample time to introduce these concepts systematically, practice them, and integrate them into a client’s daily life.
-
Building Trust and Rapport: Dealing with chronic pain can be a very vulnerable experience. A longer program allows for a deeper therapeutic relationship to develop, fostering trust and psychological safety, which are paramount for healing.
-
Addressing Setbacks and Fluctuations: Chronic pain journeys often have ups and downs. A 3-month program allows for the space to navigate potential flare-ups, adjust strategies, and reinforce coping mechanisms without feeling like the program is ending just as challenges arise.
-
Evidence-Based Practice: Many successful chronic pain management programs (including some forms of CBT for chronic pain and interdisciplinary programs) are designed for a duration of several weeks to months, recognizing that sustained effort leads to better outcomes.
Research often shows significant improvement within 8-12 sessions, which aligns perfectly with your 3-month structure. -
Some studies on health coaching for chronic pain show significant improvements at 6 and 12 months, indicating that ongoing support is beneficial, and a 3-month foundational program is a strong start.
-
A 12-week certification program for pain coaches, for example, emphasizes the depth required for practitioners, reflecting the complexity of the client journey
-
-
The Final Integration Session and Healing Roadmap allows for reflection, consolidation of gains, and a clear path forward, which is best done after a substantial period of work.
“It is only when the mind is open and receptive that learning and seeing ans change can occur”
