Who am I?
ONLINE COACHING I USA & EUROPE I EN & FR
Hi! I’m Laeti
I’ve always been drawn to the places where science and nature meet, where what we know about the brain and nervous system intersects with the quieter wisdom of slowing down, listening to the body, and finding what actually heals.
That curiosity led me to train as a clinical psychologist, to work with neurodivergent children and families across the US, and later with American veterans and their families in Germany. It also led me through my own chronic health journey, learning firsthand what it feels like to be dismissed, to search for answers, and to eventually find a path forward that conventional medicine never offered me.
Today I live in Florida with my husband, my two gifted children, and Kahla, my therapy dog in training.
I work in English and French, online, with women worldwide.
How I became a Burnout & Pain Coach
I grew up in the Belgian countryside on a 13th century horse farm, surrounded by animals and wide open land. That early closeness to nature never left me.
That connection to animals followed me into my studies. I trained as a clinical psychologist, specializing in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, and wrote my thesis on animal-assisted therapies for autistic children.
Both internships centered on animal-assisted therapies with autistic children: one in a Belgian child psychiatry center offering horse-assisted therapy, the other in the Florida Keys, where I worked in a multidisciplinary team providing dolphin-assisted therapy to special needs children.
In 2005 I left Belgium to live and work in the US, where I spent years working with neurodivergent children across Florida and Colorado, first as a behavioral therapist, then as a school psychologist, and later as an Infant/Toddler Development Specialist.
After the birth of my first child, something shifted in my health. A series of difficult life events, a struggling immune system, and the limitations of conventional medicine eventually made it clear I needed to step back and focus on my own wellbeing.
I left my career to find a pace I could actually sustain, working from home and taking care of my two children.
Although creative work felt therapeutic, something essential seemed to be missing. I felt I had lost my connection with people, with healing, and worse of all, with nature.
After a major surgery I was left managing ongoing symptoms and pain, navigating a medical system that offered few real answers. Those years of soul-searching clarified everything I valued. When we moved to Bavaria, Germany for my husband’s military posting, I found my way back to working with people, accompanying American veterans and their families, and rediscovering my clinical roots. Then the pandemic arrived and crystallized what I wanted to build.
Today I bring everything I have learned, both in training and in lived experience, to every session. I know what it is to be dismissed, to search for answers, and to finally find a path forward. That is what I want to help you find too.

My approach to Care
My approach is holistic, which means it includes all aspects of a person: mind, body, spirit and emotions. My sessions are solution-focused and strength-based. As a European-licensed CBT therapist, I use a variety of modalities in my practice. However I do not provide psychotherapy nor psychoanalysis.
My approach is also integrative, meaning it integrates with other therapeutic modalities —it does not replace medical treatment, and includes methodologies and tools from a variety of approaches rooted in science, research and empirical evidence:
